After reading Hito Steyerl's In Defence of the Poor Image, I have thought about how the concept of a poor image could apply in a non-technological context. I came to the conclusion that humans make a poor image every time they retell a story or try to recall events. Although usually unconscious, we as humans create and change a story every time we retell it. We as humans are unreliable narrators.
